I composed One for Ahmad back in the Thinking Threesome days, but that was actually my second go at the piece. I originally thought about a piece for the full ensemble. Now that we are a quintet for the 28 Oct concert at the Library, I have added two voices to the piece; in a way, a return to the original conception.
