Watched the two Hallowe'en episodes from The Addams Family: "Hallowe'en with The Addams Family" (broadcast 30 Oct 1964) and "Hallowe'en Addams Style" (broadcast 29 Oct 1965). Call it efficiency rather than reinventing the wheel, I suppose, but the latter episode begins by simply cutting in the same opening from the former, with Gomez working on Uncle Fester's likeness. The script and acting duties for the latter episode were further lightened by duplicate use (in the same show!) of Gomez and Fester bobbing for apples on a seesaw (admittedly, an inspired bit of stage action).
