Scene 1 now in proof

A piece which was actually written perhaps 10 years ago . . . the first scene of actual dancing in the ballet, the corps de ballet as people milling through the streets of St Petersburg at the time of the White Nights. The quietude and "loss of dance rhythm" towards the end of the scene reflects the main character, The Dreamer, as he finds the people emptying out of the city to go to their dachas in the country.
