Cracking Open at Last

. . . Guy Rickard's book, in Phaidon's 20th-century composers series, on Sibelius. These are whirlwind biographies, generally furnishing bits of interest . . . but will Rickards have something toothsome to say about all (or even most) of the Sibelius works to which I am wont to groove, in the space of not quite 200 pages? Is it fair to wield that as a demand?
