I was just browsing through the Classical Chat Thread and read your comment from 2009 about playing a shortened version of the Fifth symphony final movement in your Junior High Orchestra. I played oboe in the Walter Reed Junior High School Orchestra in 1961 and we also played a shortened version of the final movement of the Fifth Symphony in concert in front of our parents. The concert was also recorded on vinyl, which I still have today. Sincerely, RJR
