The Race Is Not Always to the Tightly Motivic

In Fairbanks Beethoven’s 5th has become synonymous with running.
(How they maintain steam during the Andante con moto, I’m sure I don’t know.)

Karl, perhaps the Arctic Chamber Orchestra adopts Beethoven's metronome markings, making the Andante very much con moto. ;-)

More reasonably, the quoted's understanding of "Beethoven's Fifth" is the first movement only.
